Art and Vision in the Creation of the
"Patagonia Land Art Sanctuary"

VISION AND MISSION

P.L.A.S.

Emblematic Project of High Impact that combines the Vision and the Mission of the Artist and Enviromental Activist

Alicia Pardo Lastra.

Artists will be invited to work in Situ co-creating with Nature.

Fulfilling the Mission of protection for posterity, influencing with an emblematic project that will inspire and bring awareness about the importance of preserving the biodiversity of the  Ecosystem.

Works exposed in remote locations of difficult access are often experienced by a limited audience.

My proposal is to exhibit works and messages to larger audiences amid the most beautiful of Nature's expression.

The inmensity of the water in the lakes of glacier origin, The strength of the Primary Native Forest and the untamed protected Wetland of Patagonia inspires the artists to create.

Five hundred acres of Virgin Nature preserved by the enviromental activist and artist that recognizes its intrinsic value and the need to make sustainable use of Nature to achieve Conservation with its Ecosystem and Habitat.

What makes P.L.A.S. so unique is the fact that its immense biodiversity, old growth temperate rainforest and 150 acres of protected wetlands are located only five blocks from downtown Villa La Angostura, in the province of Neuquén, the Lake Region of Patagonia Argentina. It is surrounded by Nahuel Huapi National Park and inside the Unesco World Network of Biosphere Reserves (WNBR) named Andino Norpatagonica.

It is also the Only Temperate Rain Forest in South America.
